The primary aim of the PTFA is to hold events where parents and children can feel part of the school community and get to know each other on a social level. Over the past few years the PTFA have raised £11,000 and have kindly donated this to the school to fund Wet Weather Gear for Reception Class, Y6 leavers TShirts, Bookbags, Christmas and Summer Discos, new reading books and playground equipment and 15 replacement laptops. It was decided the focus of the next few years would be to fundraise for our outdoor spaces, renovating the play areas and gardens around the school.

If you have any skills or own / work for a company that can help to make our events even more special please get in touch!
Help out at events – there are lots of parents, grandparents, uncles, aunties, big brothers and sisters as well as teaching staff who get involved. While not everyone feels able to devote hours of their time throughout the year they are nonetheless willing to man a stall at the Christmas Fair, help in the kitchen at events, face paint at Mangotsfield Festival or tie bunches of daffodils. Every little bit helps!
Donate – we do like to ask for donations to help stock stalls and raffles at our events – we always ask people to only give what they feel able to but are always bowled over by peoples’ generosity – from bottles of wine to second hand books our families always seem to have something to give us.
Your Time and Skills – this year we have had parents, friends and neighbours who have; made posters & banners, performed magic shows, paid for advertising space, printed programs, put up Christmas lights, provided BBQ food at cost price, given vouchers for raffle prizes, run stalls at events, helped to set up and clear up at events and too many other ways to mention!
