Meet our Parent Link Workers

Parent Link Workers will aim to:	Angela Knight	Sue Pope
Provide support for parent/carers and families. Support parents/carers in helping their children fulfill their potential. Hold parent forums/coffee mornings which will have a varied focus e.g. Supporting -reading at home, transition to secondary school, good behavior, homework etc. Build links and act as a signpost to other agencies for example ‘Sure Start Centre’ Provide a flexible approach to support parents and carers.

What support can Parent Links provide?

• Supporting parents/carers to set up a homework routine at home.
• Supporting parents/carers with children’s behaviour.
• Advice with forms, for example, secondary transition forms/ free school meals applications.
• Hints and tips to support children’s learning for example reading at home.
