Governors
What we do
Essentially, we are involved in setting up strategy, standards, aims and objectives, policies and targets for achieving the objectives and then reviewing progress. Clearly these tasks are undertaken in partnership with the Headteacher (who is a key member of the governing body) and we also have 3 staff governors.
Who are we?
The governing body is made up of teaching staff, a number of parents and community and Local Authority appointed governors. The head is a permanent member with all others serving a 4 year term.
