PTFA Purchases

Fund Raising 2010-2011
We are pleased that everyone’s hard work has directly led to the purchase and payment of the regular items -

  • discos
  • reception school bags
  • someone you love flowers
  • yr 6 leavers T shirts

also the bigger ticket items like...

  • the salad bar
  • digital cameras for every class
  • hoodies for our sports teams
  • and class grants.

Over the last year we have raised an amazing £5890.00!

Spending
In the AGM last night we agreed to fund an overhaul of the school pond which is badly overdue.  The All Weather Wheel Track is now being funded by school and so PTFA funds are being directed elsewhere.
The Pond needs to be cleared out and properly lined to avoid having to repeat clearing it out every year.  Plans include a concrete standing area at the edge and tables nearby to increase usage as an outside learning space.

We are pleased that the money raised will be put to good use and all children will benefit enormously from having an improved resource.  Quotes will be requested for this work and it will commence at a time when the least disruption to the existing wildlife will be caused.
